ASWA Shows Success With Summer Slamboree

​Sarasota, Fla - For their live show, All-Star Wrestling Association (ASWA) put on a banger with Summer Slamboree at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sarasota. Matches highlighted included Moses Mayhem winning the FAW Territory Heavyweight Championship, The Bounty Hunter retaining the FAW Sunshine State Championship and Jake Cross retaining the NWA FTW Hardcore Championship.

12 Man Iron Man Rumble (winner secures a spot in ASWA National Championship):

The show opened with the 12-man Iron Man Rumble where the winner would secure a spot in the tournament for the ASWA National Championship.

James Wolfe and KJ Mack would start off the match. After Colt Manson, Cruz Rivera, Kurt Johnson, Andres Reyes, Shamor Amor and J Villa entered the ring, Jackson would be the first one eliminated by Villa.

Mack would then eliminate Wolfe before being eliminated by Zach Magnus and Manson was eliminated by Ronin Lavoe. Soon Cruz, Reyes and Villa would eventually play the numbers game as the group known as RDS would eliminate Lavoe, Amor, Ethan Tornado and Magnus.

The final four wrestlers left were Rivera, Reyes, Villa and Maguire. RDS would triple team Maguire and would get him into the rope to eliminate but it would ultimately backfire as Villa would eliminate Rivera and Reyes before Maguire eliminated Villa to win the battle royal and advance to the ASWA National Championship Tournament.

Kendall Ryann vs Leela Hall vs Madisyn Maxwell:

The next match saw women’s action as Kendall Ryann would take on Leela Hall and Madisyn Maxwell.

As the match started, all three wrestlers would argue with each other and try to test each other’s strength.

Soon, The Headline would take advantage and put a strong offense on both Ryan and Hall. It would send Ryan outside the ring and lead her focus on Hall. Ultimately, Hall would come out victorious as she pinned Maxwell with an inside cradle.

The Real Drago vs Ethan Tornado (ASWA National Championship Tournament First Round):

The opening match of the ASWA National Championship Tournament was set similar to David vs Goliath as The Real Drago would take on Ethan Tornado, who earlier fought in the Iron Man Rumble. Tornado would utilize his speed to gain momentum but Drago’s power would be too much for Tornado as Drago would win via submission with a Full Nelson.

Bison vs Mike Orlando (ASWA National Championship Tournament First Round):

In a wave of cheers between two fan favorites, the next round in the tournament was a power game between Bison and Mike Orlando but it would ultimately be cut short after Orlando hit Bison with a hard clothesline that would cause worry. The referee was left with no choice but to end the match as the Mean Green would advance via referee’s stoppage.

Big Rig Colton vs Moses Mayhem (Match for the vacant FAW Territory Championship):

For the first of three championship matches, Big Rig Colton and Moses Mayhem would be the ones to fight for the vacant FAW Territory Championship.

Both fan favorites would use their technical skills to work with Mayhem have a slight power advantage. Ultimately, Mayhem would come out on top as the ‘Midwest Mack Truck’ utilized a spear to win the championship.

After the match, both men would show their respect with a handshake.

Jack Maguire vs Orion (ASWA National Championship Tournament First Round):

After winning a battle royal earlier to qualify for the tournament, Maguire was looking to move on in the tournament. His opponent was a tough one in Orion.

Maguire would get off to a hot start and lay offense on Orion through his speed. The momentum would stop as Orion would put offense of his own into play and target Maguire’s upper body.

Despite a mounted comeback and several rollups from both wrestlers, Orion would come out on top as he hit a spinning muscle buster for the finish.

Rewind Society (VHS And Sammy D) vs RDS (J Villa and Andres Reyes w/Cruz Rivera):

RDS were looking to avoid two losses in one night so to keep themselves on the right track, they would face off against Rewind Society.

As the match started Villa and Reyes would find ways to prevent VHS from making the tag to his partner. Eventually, VHS would make a hot tag to Sammy D and he would clean house. As he went for the pin, Rivera would interfere and prevent the referee from getting the three count which would then see him getting ejected from the match. The distraction played crucial for Rewind Society as they hit Reyes with the Hyper Combo Finish for the win.

*Bounty Hunter vs The Cheese (FAW Sunshine State Championship):

In the second championship match of the show, The Bounty Hunter was looking to keep the FAW Sunshine State Championship with him at all times. The challenger was none other than the Sultan of Swiss, The Cheese.

As the match progressed, Cheese would bring numerous cheese slaps to the mix as he would hit Bounty Hunter with slice after slice of cheese singles. This would push Bounty Hunter to an aggressive side and mount a flurry of offense.

Heading towards the end of the match, Bounty Hunter would put The Cheese in a knee bar hoping to make him tap out but the match would end in chaos as The Real Drago would attack The Cheese and cause a disqualification win for him. Despite the win, Bounty Hunter was able to retain his championship.

*Jake Cross vs Javon Dymond (Hardcore Match for the NWA Fight The World Championship):

In the main event and the final championship match of the show, Jake Cross was looking to keep his title by any means necessary, even in a hardcore match. His opponent that answered the call was ‘The Unbreakable’ Javon Dymond.

The matched started off strong for Dymond as he utilized trash cans, trash can lids and a steel chain that he wrapped around his arm and hand. Cross would try to hit Dymond with the same chain, but it would have zero effect on him. Eventually, Cross tried everything he could to keep Dymond down from a diving leg drop on a garbage can and a baseball bat to the gut and throat to hitting him with a glass bottle and trash can lid but they would only get to a two count.

Dymond would then bring in a table to place in the corner but it would backfire as Cross hit a shotgun dropkick on Dymond through the table for the win and retain his championship.

Walker’s Win Sets Up Stipulation Match

​Bradenton, Fla - The Magnificent Johnny Walker’s losing streak finally came to an end in his match with Leeroy Shogun at Universal Fury 23 as Walker defeated Shogun to pick the stipulation for a match between UCW Universal Champion Logan Cruz and Steve Sterling. Additionally, the UCW Intergalactic Championship changed hands as Baby Keef ended Dagan McCarter’s longest reign at eight months.

Anthony Devlin vs Tim Foil:

The show opened with the return of ‘The Demigod’ Anthony Devlin, who made his return after his last match at Bar Brawl in Sarasota. To extend his streak, he would go up against the fan favorite in Tim Foil.

Going into the match, Devlin would gain the upper hand and work the upper body. While Foil had a tiny bit of momentum in offense, it would not be enough for him as Devlin secured the pinfall victory following a twisting double underhook DDT.

*Logan Cruz vs Jack Maguire (UCW Universal Championship):

Before the main event occurred, UCW Universal Champion Logan Cruz would talk with the fans and felt that he should have a match to warmup before Locking Horns 2, so to make the fans happy he issued an open challenge to anyone willing to fight him with the UCW Universal Championship on the line. Jack Maguire would end up being the wrestler to answer Cruz’s open challenge.

Both wrestlers would shake hands before the match began and they would exchange several wristlocks and takedowns before Cruz took the upper hand with a running uppercut. Cruz would continue his offense until Maguire started to mount a comeback that led to a shining wizard for a two-count.

As Maguire would try to gain one more chance of offense, it would not go his way as Cruz would hit The Right Hand of God not once but twice for the pinfall to retain the championship.

Afterwards, Cruz and Maguire would shake hands in respect for an incredible match.

Baby Keef vs *Dagan McCarter (UCW Intergalactic Championship):

After getting his first singles win for UCW, Baby Keef decided to up the ante and challenge for first chance at the UCW Intergalactic Championship. Meanwhile, Dagan McCarter was looking to continue on as the longest reigning champion after winning it at Masters of The Universe (October 25, 2025).

The match would barely as Cam Fox, the man who McCarter beat for the championship, would make his presence known and sit at the commentary table to watch the match.

The match would go through back and forth with both competitors showing their willingness to win, which included McCarter hitting his signature Redeemer Stunner only for Keef to escape the pinfall.

Keef would then gain the advantage and hit a frog splash on McCarter only to find Fox pinning McCarter’s foot to help Keef win his first singles championship in UCW and end McCarter’s eight and a half month reign.

Following the match, both wrestlers shook hands in respect as Keef celebrated.

*The Annihilation vs Sean Scott and Jake St. Patrick (UCW Tag Team Championship):

After losing the UCW Tag Team Championship, Sean Scott and Jake St. Patrick chose to invoke their rematch clause to regain the titles they lost and become the first two-time UCW Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, the Annihilation (Chungus and Syther) would strategize and take out Scott before the match began and then put their focus on St. Patrick and work on his back. St. Patrick would fight back and was able to get the tag in to Scott who would clean house only for a near fall on Chungus. Scott would then make a tag to St. Patrick and it looked like they would go for a double superkick, but it in a shocking twist of events, Scott would betray his tag team partner and hit the Cash Out only for Chungus to go for the pin and retain the championship.

Jonathan Hudson vs Kai Price:

Both Jonathan Hudson and Kai Price were looking to get back to the winning side of things after they each lost their last matches.

The match would start with Price working on Hudson’s leg with a critical dragon screw. Hudson would not be fully fazed and would eventually use his power game to his advantage.

Eventually, Price would make a comeback and rework on Hudson’s leg, which would lead to Price winning the match after Hudson tapped out to the sharpshooter.

Johnny Walker vs Leeroy Shogun (Stipulation Match):

In the main event, all eyes were focused on Walker and Shogun to determine the stipulation for the match between Cruz and Steve Sterling.

As the match started, Shogun would start off strong until a small drawback would give Walker the advantage. Eventually, it would lead to the outside of the ring and into the UCW Verse with Shogun getting some assistance from the fans.

In the closing moments of the match, Shogun looked to have the victory until Sterling would come out of nowhere and hit Cruz with a steel chair. That one distraction would give Walker the edge as he rolled up Shogun with a hand full of tights for the win and end his losing streak.

Stipulation Announced:

After the match, Walker would announce that he would be the special guest referee for the UCW Universal Championship match at Locking Horns 2.
